Committee provided project sponsor with advisory opinion on how to proceed. Instructed him to explore w/th City's Department of Building & Housing: (1) a change in the direction of the front door swing from current outward direction to inward, given that the building's legal occupancy is less than 50 persons; (2) the installation of a landing & ramp design that represents less of a potential encroachment into the public right-of-way than that depicted on current plans. The height of this design should be only as tall as the first step, a solution that may not require the installation of a railing. |
