Committee moved to recommend approval of the demolition of both homes due to the safety issues they present and the prospects for future site redevelopment their removal permits. The recommendation was made with the following conditions: (1) a black vinyl-coated chain link fence be immediately placed around the perimeter of the entire redevelopment site controlled by the applicant; (2) that the redevelopment site be cleaned & maintained by the applicant on a regular basis while in an undeveloped state; and, (3) that any subsequent demolition request for the remaining single-family home at the SW corner of West 32nd Street and Clark Avenue be accompanied by a comprehensive redevelopment plan that clearly illustrates how the entire site owned by the applicant can be consolidated and redeveloped for a commercial use. |
