Committee moved to table action on the proposed business identification signage package to provide the sponsor with time to modify the designs to address issues raised at the November 12th meeting: (1) remove Sign #2 on Print A1 from the south wall of the building facing Brookpark Rd. due to its redundancy w/companion signs; (2) simplify the sign graphics by removing the red border on all signs and instead surround the company logo with a blue oval that will serve to more effectively frame the logo and text that is situated on a white background; (3) modify the proportionality of the logos to better fit within the new blue oval and reduce the amount of white background color. |

Project was tabled by the Committee at its November 12, 2014 meeting. Project sponsor was asked to make changes to the graphic design. Upon review of changes, Committee moved to approve the design graphics proposed for the total sign package. However, sponsor was addionally asked to proportionately modify the design of signs #2 and #4 so that the company logo's image of a car & related text is surrounded by less white space. This may require a re-dimensioning in the size of the oval sign face from its current 4'v x 16' dimension. Sponsor as asked to submit revised copy to City Planning staff who will ciruclate to Committee for review and approval. |
